Anar dana

Anardana is the dried seed of the pomegranate fruit, often used as a tangy, slightly sweet and sour spice in Indian and Middle Eastern cooking. It is made by sun-drying the juicy arils (seed pods) of sour pomegranate varieties, preserving both the seeds and their natural tartness.
